After Jade had examined the trap book at length, she looked at Mike and said, "Well it seems sturdy enough." She sighed and asked Mike to put it in a very secure place. "We'll have to cross our fingers and hope for the best."

In a while, the wonderful smell of EA's stew began to waft through the Bar and Grille. It seemed to transcend time and space as it began to drift through every nook and cranny. Even people that had been wandering on the beach far below the cliff linked to the restaurant, irresistibly drawn by the aroma. Jade smiled as the RB&G began to fill with old and new customers alike. She poked her head in the kitchen and said, "I hope you made enough for everybody, EA. There's quite a crowd out here."

erm... Grizz is wondering if EA gets her special ingredients from the same place he gets his special coffee ingredients?

Grizz grinned over at Speedy, and indicated a spot behind the bar, right at the end. In a little nook was a KA sound system with the whole works, radio, CD player, DVD player, even a turntable for those who might still possess some vinyl.

The speakers were wired into the wall and were placed in strategic spots around the bar and grille. In a cabinet over the machine were rows and rows of CDs and DVDs of all types and ages.

"Take your pick," Grizz said. "Or bring in your own CDs or DVDs. New music is always welcome in the RB&G. But if you can keep the window from rattling it might be best! There are still folks asleep in the inn."

RW couldn't resist. In spite of the fact he couldn't figure out why old reliable wasn't, and wouldn't start, there was a irresistable smell coming from somewhere. Pulling his head out from under the hood, he looked around. Yes, it seemed to be coming from just down the street.

Following the delicious enticement wafting on the breeze he read the sign, "Revelation Bar and Grill". MMmmmmmm, I do believe I smell stew and fresh baked bread!!! RW entered.

Please, if you please, I would desperately like to order a very large bowl of that wonderful stew and fresh baked bread I smell and whatever to drink you think would go down well with it.

RW began to pull the bills from his pocket before he finished the order.

"Oh really?" Speedy said as she went over to look at the music equipment. She analyzed some of the wiring connections, nodding every now and then.
"It just may work..." she muttered.
    "What is that?" asked Grizz.
"Oh, nothing bad, just curious on what I could attach to these speakers... don't worry, nothing bad," Speedy said as she smiled.
"Anyways, I need to go at the moment. Got some stuff to take care of. Later!" Speedy said as she flew out.

Grizz is intrigued by the way Speedy checks out the sound system, and seems to be . . . erm . . . plotting?

    Then he notices rw!

"Hey there rw!" he says cheerily, "put that money away! Your first meal at the Revelation Bar & Grille is on the house! I'm sure Jade would insist on that, and if she doesn't, I'll pick up the tab myself! Welcome! And if you ever need a place to stay for the night, the inn next door is part of this establishment."

Then Grizz leans in a little, and ...

"That is, if you don't mind frat parties that run until the wee hours, and rogue rocking chairs that rock with no one sitting in them!"

Jade welcomed RW with a wide smile. "It's so good to see you here (((RW)))." She patted him on the shoulder and then went to the kitchen. "Hey EA, there's someone I'd like you to meet when you get a sec." Jade sliced a thick piece of homemade bread and put it on a plate with a slab of butter. She dipped a healthy portion of stew into a bowl and then placed it all on a tray. As she left the kitchen, she called over to Grizz and said, "Bring RW an iced tea, please." Fresh brewed tea was just the right refreshment to go with this meal or so Jade thought. Grizz thought she meant a long island iced tea and that's what RW got.

EA finished getting things set so serving would be a breeze. Teyla flew in from sunning herself on the roof of the Inn, and landed on EA's shoulder. EA went out to meet this new visitor to the RB&G.
