But, as quickly as he came, the small Panda disapeared with a flash and a puff of smoke

But when the smoke cleared and the vision of those in the bar recovered, they saw a Gopher, just sitting there, with an RPG on his back

EA, Grizz and Jade picked themselves up off the floor, brushing themselves off and looking significantly ashamed of themselves. "Sorry." and "Pardon." and "Excuse me." could be heard and then they saw the Gopher sitting there, looking rather smug. "That's odd." EA whispered, her eyes beginning to glow again. She took one step forward, but Grizz put his hand on her arm and shook his head slowly.

"Don't even think about it." He whispered.

"Why not?" She whispered, her eye on the RPG.

"I'm not sure...there's just something about him. Don't make him furious, whatever you do."

[Furious_Gopher]

The Gopher, keeping a close guard on his RPG, slowly holsters it. Breaking the silence, he offers to buy everyone another round of drinks

"Perhaps this will stop them from eyeing that RPG "

A sigh...a breath...and then a sense of calm pervades the restaurant. "That sounds lovely, thank you." Jade smiled brightly at Gopher and then said, "I'll just take that for you and lock it safely in the closet." She reached for the RPG...

The Gopher, amazed at Jades beauty, willingfully hands over the RPG.

It was at this point though, that he realized his fatal mistake...

EA gets busy makin cookie jack-o-lanterns, while Jade, Grizz, and the guests all carve Pumpkins for the Hallow's End Festival that night.

"I just got done playing MYST V" she says to her friends..."cried at the end...it was so sad, but so happy at the same time! Grrrr on Cyan for leaving it a teaser!!"

A blue stork flies into the Bar and Grille, looking around to see if anyone is there. Alas, the place is empty. Slowly, she makes it to the bar and finds a piece of paper and a pencil. She writes a quick message and leaves it on the counter.

If anyone has seen Jadesdream, could you please direct her to a nearby phone and have her call the Age and Country Hotel? Speedyserd would really like to talk to her about the holiday season... Thanks

With a and a , Jade peeks inside the bar and grille to see if anyone is still around. "Hey you guys, Grizz and I wanted to share our happy news. In the Real Life Bar and Grille, we tied the knot on Valentine's Day. We are blissfully happy and wanted to share our joy with all of our friends here at the RB&G." With that, she brushed off a cobweb or two and headed toward the broom closet. There was a lot of work to be done.

Outside the RB&G a strange, yet familiar, noise is heard. It's the sound of someone who has arrived after placing their hand on a picture. Dust bunnies swirl across the street, and cobwebs hang from the sign of the RB&G.

With a sigh of sadness at the unintended neglect, Earthangell steps up to the door. Giving it a bit of a shove, ("Need to find the oil can...."), she enters the once lively inn that she had called home. "5 years is a long, long time.... I was gone for far too long ." Gingerly, she threads her way through the tables and chairs of the RB&G, leaving a trail of footprints in the thick dust.

Heading into the kitchen, she notices a large wedding cake, miraculously untouched by time, with the names of her old friends, Jade and Grizz. "Belated congratulations!", she whispers in the breeze coming through the back door.

Grabbing a rag from under the sink, EA starts to clean up. A couple hours later, the Kitchen is done, and EA has grabbed the mop and broom and started on the main room. She hums a lil' tune while she works, and quickly moves on to the rest of the place. With windows opened to let in fresh breezes, EA looks around, and smiles at the newly gleaming bar counter, and heads back to the Kitchen.

Grinning, EA stokes the fire, and starts working on the dinner menu: Roast beef, russet potatoes, green beans and carrots from the garden, and a Pineapple Upside Down cake for dessert!


OT: Back in Feb 2005, we welcomed our 4th child to this world. As of Aug 2010, we welcomed our 7th. We now have 3 boys, and 4 girls Oh, and we have changed Ages. We are back in the East Coast Age
