71% Game Broken/Flaw? | Forums

I am at 71%, I walk on the platform for the girl to bring me up. The view changes to the cinematic view but nothing happens, the platform doesn't raise. Am I doning something wrong or is the game broken?

try to walk up further...are you hearing farah ask is she should hit the button? and if you arent on there, you say not yet...then when you are on far enough...at the top..you will say now.....

Yes, I do all of that. He even says "now".

It is like the game is broken.

Have you tried loading a save game from the hall of learning, in the room before the observatory (where the mirror puzzle is)? I don't know what the exact percentage is though.

I have the same problem on the gamecube. I go on the plateform and he says now then goes to the cinematic and nothing happens, It's also happend to other people on ign boards. This really sucks the people from ubisoft need to be informed about this.

I have the pc-version...
worked for me, the Prince shouted: NOW!
and she pulls it

Same thing has happened to me (Xbox version) and I'm not happy. Basically I completed the Observatory 1st time round and then 'cos it was late didn't carry on past the next few halls with traps. Came back to my last save which starts you at the bottom of the Observatory and now each time I stand on the platform and the prince shouts 'Now!' you get the cinematic but absolutely nothing happens. And to add insult to injury my last save before this is over 40% back and I really don't want to have to play through all that again.

So what's going on Ubisoft, an answer or some help would be nice?

i have the same problem... I'm playing the game on a GameCube... After the scene loads farah yells "Are you on the platform yet?" and the prince says "Not yet, wait till im on the platform". and then i walk on to the platform and he says "Now!". It breaks into a cut scene and the patform does absolutely nothing.... I'm kinda pissed since I have no earlier saves... isnt there anything i can do??

another thing i noticed, was that while i was going back through the passage with which i came into that room with (which had a dead end now since the door closed) i heard the sound effects of something moving... possibly what would be the sound of the platform going up... but when i returned to the patform room, everthing was exactly the same.
