have you seen lately the hopme page of Settlers4
german side compared to the English side???


that is what we are talking about
no matter how many timea you tell me that your side dosent have all that much suport...at least you have some kind of comunication and some one , somewhere, is updayting the site...last time any of us sow any one near the ranks was 2 xmas ago.....
that im my opinion is, at least, a lack of ineteres..or maybe a lack of something else..you use your own words, we all use owr own...
in our sperience with BB or UBI we are always at the wrong end of the stick...and that my frien, some times hurts...at lot

I agree with you on nearly all this, only in the other thread it was about playtesting. When BB was sold to Ubi more than 3 years ago they were urged to release S4 prematurely in order to poke some money into Ubi's pockets. The game, and so the customers, suffered from it as we all know. Now the situation is different and I think betatesting will go as far as it has to go.

Concerning the release of new infos and screens about the game in English, I agree that it may be a lack of interest, lack of sleep (or too much sleep) and the only way to change it is to URGE piranha or whoever is in charge to keep up with the german side and to remind them the sinister fate of the Cartrix guy who promised all and everything and then vanished to nowhere and in consequence many english speaking players feel that they have an issue to settle with Ubi. If the CMs or admins here are not aware of the fact that they have to catch up and to make forget the past non-support, they will have to face bad sales figures, for sure.

I have requested many times the lobby to be changed to english,the help and everything is in german still,not a lot of good to those of us who need help,and dont understand the german language

S5 will be played via ubi.com while S3 and S4 will apparently remain in the BBGC. You will probably have a ubi.com lobby in english, but it seems that it is not good place to chat as some of the features of the BBGC are missing, rather only a platform to open and to join games.

You said that you feel some kind of loyalty towards ubi/bb, I must say that if they had let me down for such a long time (which means absence of loyalty towards their customers) I would have questioned my obligations.

I have questioned myself many times,and have recently felt like saying enough is enough and quitting S4,recently the lobby has become a haven for idiots,there is such a misuse of aliases going on in there,alot of the "old" S4 players have left the lobby due to this and I just feel that if I did the same,the idiots would take over.You mention that S5 will use UBI servers and chatrooms,I think it will be bad news for lots of players if its not a chatroom as they are used to,so many join BBGC just to have a chat with online "mates",I havent been on any UBI servers so cant comment on them.There are many changes I would like to see made to stop the same happening on there as in BBGC English at the mo.Chances are no one would listen they havent listened for the last 3 years why start now

I got some good examples of BB's lack of help in BBGC over the last times. Not going to repead hem all, that allready has been done enough by me

Now all of the sudden s5 is on it's way and it always seems to be as if they suddently realised that they have abandoned us for the last years and suddently try to make up with it, Giving us a new forum, replying to emails even!!!! quite a new experience, but not enough.

No Mike BB didnt abandon us,the responsibilty for english lobby and support was taken from them and taken over by UBI.BB arent to blame.I personally cant fault BBContact(Conti)he has been far more help to me than any of the UBI ppl have been.Even I get all mail from UBI returned undelivered.UBI are in charge of BB and call the shots.Cartrix was put in charge of the english community,but was just a flash in the pan,here one day gone the next.Go on Piranha tell me your Cartrix
