Thread: How to ban or kick a player off.... | Forums

    How in the world do you ban someone, or kick them off of your server? Just thought that I'd ask, cause I'd like to know. I wish that the MP was set up like how Ravenshield is, where it is easy to type what you need in the console, and whola! A player is permanantly banned by his IP adress, so he can't just change his name and waltz back in.

    When you host a game, and have PunkBuster enabled, you can press the " key (god I WISH I could remap that key)

    And it will bring up a list. You then type:

    PB_SV_PLIST

    and you will get a (VERY HARD TO READ) list of the players along with what slot they are (1-4). If the person in slot 3 is to be kicked/banned, type:

    PB_SV_BAN 3
    -or-
    PB_SV_KICK 3

    To remap the key, go to the pandora tomorrow\online\system folder and then edit from the default.ini the console key to be 192
    "[Engine.Console]
    ConsoleKey=192"

    If that doesn't work, make sure the punkbuster server is enabled by typing:

    pb_sv_enable

    You can also type someone's name after using the pb_sv_kick function. You don't even need to type their full name, seems the game will extrapolate the proper name if you give it enough letters.

    i.e. Instead of typing
    pb_sv_kick [EFF]Iron_Legionnaire
    you could probably get away with
    pb_sv_kick iron
    as long as there wasn't someone else on the server with "iron" in their name.
