I installed everything properly for the MP mod, but I cant find any servers in the game. What do I need to do, add them manually?!

MPMod is not official, thus there are no official servers. Servers take up bandwidth which general joe public cannot afford, therefore there will only be servers on if someone is currently playing, no servers=no one playing, why not start one yourself? Folk usually just arrange a time and post an IP.

So I just start a server in FarCry (no password) and tell people to join or something like that?

I've seen posts that say something like this

MP game tonight at 18:00 EST on 131.132.133.134:49001

(erm, this is not a real server ad btw)

The MPMod comes with a file 'serverlist.hta'. Double click this file and a list of servers will appear.

Write down all the ips. Most if not all ARE NOT up... I hosted one for 2 hours, ran the serverlist about 6 hours later and my IP was there.

After getting the ip's, Start->Run->cmd

type : ping IPADDRESS

for each server, note the lowest pings, then try and connect directly by ip through Far Cry.
