I pre-ordered that game months ago and hopefully it will be scary as hell... scary is good...

Apparently according to this link:

you need a 512Mb graphics card to run it on the fullest settings. That was said in a review. Apparently x800 & the 6800 series cant run it at its fullest but can run it very very well

It means that ID has sent their release candidate code of the game to activision for approval for manufacturing and that both companies mutually agree that the game is ready for retail sales.
