Which weapon would you add to RS if you had the chance.



I would add my fav modern 6 shooter the colt python.




Because sadly RS doesn't have a single revolver in the game.


But 2 handguns are lacking big time.

Like a 1911 colt. Just about the most famaous pistol ever made.

And a glock 17.

(Although a scoped revolver like a S&W 629 Classic would be pretty neat, too.)

The baby eagle. Full 4.52 inch barrel. Either 9mm, .40s&w, or .45ACP. It is my fav pistol.

It would be great if Rainbow could use their integrally silenced MP10s, like in the book. A remington sniper rifle would also be cool (also in the book). On a similar note, I dont really understand why people would want to see older model weapons systems such as revolvers; even though they are widely used by some police forces (ie French GIGN) the whole concept seems a bit incongruous with the idea of Rainbow. I feel sometimes as if people view the game as some kind of weapons demonstrator that they need to cram as many types of crappy machine pistols into as possible just cause they want to get a kick out of firing them or because it's their "fave" weapon. Rainbow is an elite unit, not some backwoods militia. Let's raise the bar on weapons selection.

Jeeze I can use just about any weapon that shoots, but I'd love to have a knife be added. Can't count the times I could have used it to kill a tango that was standing right by me without alerting his pals to my presence.

Well I like mulitplayer a lot. And in mulitplayer any idea of realistic rainbow six teams battleing it out with terroist is gone unless you play co-op missions.

And even so.. tangos are likely to use "outdated" firearms like the AK-47. And if you got them using them and implemented that means about half the work is done on it already so why not give you the choice to use it as well.


Call me dumb but I like choice. More choices I have the better I feel. That applys to video games as well as life.

I just guess I'm a bit of a purist and in the minority on this issue in that I like to stay "in character" while playing R6 and would never dream of using an AK or FNC or whatever in SP or MP. It's nice that Ubi provides us with all of the choices that it does, but to tell the truth I've never really had any desire to use anything in the game but the H&K subs, (aaahh if only that were feasable on MP Having a huge choice just doesnt occur as a requisite to me in R6, seems to dilute the game some. Just my opinion though.

you know if you host your own multiplayer game you can restrict certain weapons. So you could force everyone playing with you to only use the weapons you think are best suited for the game.
