hi rudidlo,
"fraps2" does it... but it is no freeware anymore.
a good try is also "windows media-encoder 9", which is for free on windows-media sites. it takes a time for the program to load and the settings are many, but not very comprehensive. it feels a little hungry for ressources though, but the results are good. i personally don't like the .wmv-output, but capturing in lossless quality is possible and with the wright tools (or premiere6) it can be edited and compressed furthermore to any wished format.
i have tried "camtasia" and other screengrabbers, too, but they are all not satisfying to me.

I highly recommend Camtasia but it seems that I am the only one who uses it and/or knows how to.

Thanks. But I read that Camtasia needs plenty of system resources.
