<Caps off> i hear you buddy & I was just about to post a "Is there any news on GR2?"thread when I read yours.

I don't think GR's dying though mate. the GR Forums are struggling probably because most things have been discussed to death but in my experience GR is still very much alive. with a big thanks to the modders.

You are right though Red Storm should atleast confirm what there upto. I feel that alot of the PC GR Guys also feel a little bit cheated because of the Jungle Storm thing being PS2 Only when the ps2 Community havn't embraced the game anywhere near as well as the PC community. I know the JS is based on IT but I also hear that there are many new MP maps & stuff that are JS only. (but thats to be confirmed as I've not seen JS)

Come on Red Storm Give something, anything. confirm the rumours

I suspect something is about to happen because of the way Ubi changed the look of the GR website recently. It could be due to the debut of the PS2 pandering, but I'm hoping that it's because they are about to announce something and want to try to generate more interest in GR/DS/IT in preparation of the GR2 release.

If there are no plans for a GR2 then Ubi is wading through dangerous waters by not dispelling rumors because the longer they wait to give us bad news the more angry we'll be if there is no GR2.

Also, djfobboy, some people get offended by a ALL CAPS because it is interpreted as yelling - although many feel like yelling at Ubi when it comes to GR2 news... [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif[/img]

I'd say that GR certainly is not dying.

It's the one game that I have never unistalled since buying it... others have come and gone but GR is always on my hard drive.

And part of that the reason for that is the community that surrounds GR - a more friendly and helpful group of players you could not wish to find.

I've been on a few forums and GR is still the king.

I don't want to name names....but try Tr*bes2... oops, I've typed it now....

well .. you know what .. i just think that they have to keep us interested .. they have a good community of GR ADDICTS like us all .. and it has been a while since an expansion or even a new news about GR2 came out ..

to me if i was a business man .. id think that .. theres alot of GR fans out there and i know that they are waiting for GR2 .. give them news, anything .. just to keep them excited about everything .. cause now i dont know if anyone has noticed .. the GR world is slowly shrinking .. yes there is alot of people thats still playing .. but i think a smart move if you were a business man .. keep the games coming .. expansion pack .. then hit them with GR2 .. but keep the people thats been supporting the game for so long interested .. specially now that theres so many games thats competing out in the cyber world ..

i hope that they give us all something new to be excited about .. ive seen the gr.net forums .. its old .. prolly almost a yearold .. that thread ..

i love GR its been on my computer since day 1 .. but i want news as to whats happening in GR2 .. dont surprise me .. cause i love the game and i will but gr2 no matter what ..
just keep the community informed ..

In other hand I'm pretty angry and
I promised to myself that without GR2
I will not buy another game or whatever
from UBI or Red Storm!
I spoke with some people from GR
community and saw that they think
in same way.
Note that: gamers will survive without
Red Strorm but, can Red Storm develop
business without castomers?
It will be nice if they think about that sometimes.
It is not question just about GR2 but it is question
of respecting personal customers. They had enough time
to say: OK will not be GR2 or We going to make it!
They have to be thankful to GR community moders.

Moders are those who keep this community in life!
