I have a problem,, and i definelly need a help | Forums

When i play Rvs,, the speed is ok,, but when i actually play it, it's really slow,, if i'm doing nothing and standing,, my fps is 23-31... when i'm moving, or do something like walking, crounching, shooting and stuffs, my fps goes down to 0-3... i mean it keeps freezing, and won't do fast,,,, so i keep dying even the first single player mission with recruit mode cause whenever there is a enemy, they will shoot obviously,, and my fps starts to go down cause there r conflicts,, then i can't fire,, i don't think my computer slow cause when i read the recommendation for playing rvs, it wasn't really slow,, my computer parts r following :

P4 1.6 ghz
512 Rambus ram
Geforce 2 128mb agp x 4

is my computer slow or r there some problems with it?? please reply~ i wanna play rvs well..

well... are all your setting in the graphics section of options set to high. because thats what happend to me. the were to hi so i put them at low and now its so much faster. sure the people are a little pixelated and there are no shadows, but who cares ive still kept the detailed smoke and stuff. so try it.

try turning down the AA and AF in your graphics card options. i had a gf4 mx440 a while ago and it did the same thing when i would try to max stuff out on the default clock settings for the card(i oc'd and it ran a lot better, then got a 9700 pro w/ my new puter and it runs great)

your card is a little slow. i wopuld suggest truning down the settigns and turn off vsync

I will fix your problem for you. If you have onboard sound on your motherboard. Go to sound options in ravenshield, set quality to low, no virtualization, and uncheck eax and 3d sound.

HEY I GOT ANOTHER PROBLEM!!! CAN U HELP ME?? IT'S DEADLY THEN THE OLD ONE...I CAN'T UPDATE MY VERSION TO NEWER ONE.. EVERYTIME I UPDATE THERE IS AN ERROR LIKE OLD FILE WAS NOT FOUND. BUT THE SAME NAME WAS FOUND. NO UPDATE DONE SINCE THE FILE CONTENTS DO NOT MATCH.. HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM??? I ASKED LOTTA PEOPLE BUT THEY SAID JUST REINSTALL THE RVS BUT I TRIED THAT MORE THEN 5 TIMES!! AND I DOWNLOADED TO PATCH BUT WON'T WORK AGAIN!!! ANY SOLUTION??? PLZ HELP ME WRECKER!! U R MY ONLY HOPE~~~

the exact problem is the same as the one i had... to make it smooth u need to turn off kazaa or any background programs like that and to fix the update reinstall the game and dont make any changes to the files i.e DONT USE A NO CD CRACK!!! this will fix all problems guarenteed!!!
