Anyone use 9800pro to play POP without problem ?

I am using 9800pro 128M (built by ATI) with Catalyst 3.10 in Win XPSP1. When playing POP, the screen often switch to totally black and finally monitor go to sleep mode. However the game music is still playing and the correct SFX can be hear if I press the key, so actually the game is still running except the display. POP cannot close even use Ctrl-Alt-Del, the only way is hard-reset!
I have try run it in lowest resolution (POP's safe mode) but problem is same.
