Just got Shenmue 2nd hand from amazon and what a great game,why the hell the DC failed i dont know,i have a PS2 and i think the DC wizzes all over that,

I think the reason was because of sony's marketing was better then the dreamcast.


Everyone I know feels the same way. It's just to hard to see why the dreamcast failed to sell like it did. I mean for it's time it was the greatest console... far better then playstation.


The playstation always had one big thing. The games. There is just tons of them made for it.

I agree, brought internet gameplay to the consoles with Phantasy Star Online.
