Have just bought my long awaited copy of FC and couldnt wait to get a goin. The game seems to install fine (at NO time asking me for the CD KEY), and when i go to the main menu and start a campaign it takes me to the load screen and then freezes when the 'time' bar at the bottom reaches the end.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. The Comp is'st by any means a monster machine but she should be able to cope quite easily.

If you want help then post your PC specs, as well as your Far Cry settings. Knowing what is running in the background might be helpful too.
how long did you wait. I know that when I only had 512mb of ram the bar would sometimes load fast and then hang at full for a while. Some people said they have had it hang for over a minute. Just be patient. Also you dont need to enter a CD-key untill you make an online account.
