Hi All
I had this problem in both the demo & full versions (the patch hasn't helped)
If I run the game, a lot of the time, i get weird texture ripping/flashing, happens a fair bit outside the lighthouse.
It happens MORE on the stats (health, etc) rather than the game screen itself...
If I disable 'HW Vertex Processing', then it works fine!
I've got a Nvidia Geforce FX 5900 Ultra 256, Dets 53.03, Win2k sp4, Intel INF drivers installed, everything up to date..
This is the only game i've got that has a problem, is there anyone else having this problem, or have a fix, etc?
Raa.

So, there's your answer. That is "hardware vertex processing" and apparently the game wants "software vertex processing." You can re-enable it for the rest of your games. With it off, this game should run fine.

So basically what you're telling me is that my Geforce card can't do Hardware Vertex Processing?
I find this a very sloppy solution unfortunately
I want my Hardware Processing!! Its faster, and uhh....... looks better!

Well, aparently it's a problem with your card. You may want to email nVidia about that, so far you're the only one with it, so that may be a problem with your card...

I've found the solution to my problem (and someone else is now reporting this issue)
If you have Rivatuner installed, and disable Direct3D's Vsync (this ISN'T the option in the Nvidia Control Panel), Then you will get this texture strangeness.
If you set it back to 'Auto', then the problem goes away.
I think I might make mention to Ubi about this one, not having V-Sync off is not very handy for myself and probably others.
Nobody else has so far encountered this issue (or has posted) because Direct3d doesn't have a setting change unless you go looking for it......
Hope this helps some others!

well i dont have rivatuner installed.. but ive been having trouble with my ti4600 and flashing textures as well. tried everything (hw vertex off, multi vertex off, to no avail)
then i followed Raa's advise and set direct3d's v-sync to 'auto' (was previously set to 'off'). then instantly, problem solved! no more flicking. im now 3 hrs or so into this great game, no issues at all since.
thanks to Raa for the tip. have fun with this one guys...

Hah. And I thought I was the only one with this problem.
Say...it wouldn't happen to be made by InnoVision, now would it?
