iam still not sure who voted for the maps they passed over to GRIT, i mean who wants wilderness and battlefield no one played them when it was GR lmao
-
just some info i must pass is starting in december they are starting to release gr original maps for dlc to gr-it. The first map is small river. they chose that first because the map was the smallest file size so it was the easiest to re-vamp and convert it to GRIT format. alot more to come

Hard to believe. Where'd you get that info Ninjaryder?

i play with a guy from the gr series map designer/builder. he is in the process of building new maps with an IRAQ setting espescially sadam's palaces. He brought it up to me that all these new maps with the blue surround in the server settings (Oil Refinery, Aurora, Road block, riverbed....) were actually meant for a new gr game in the making, called Desert Strike, but they had since decided to ditch that product and release all the maps for dlc on the gr-it disk. he also said that Night Embassy was in the making, it is the original embassy map at night but everything is a mirror image of the original, everything is flip flopped. The hotel will be in the south of the map and the garage will be in the north. I can not release my sources XBL GT so he will not get in trouble for this info leak or to be hounded by people online. He told me this info back in early october and said that the first orignal map from gr would be released in mid december, i guess they may have pushed that date up to Dec. first.

yes m this is not abunch of bull, if you read the back of the gr-it case when you bought it, it said 5 dlc missions in time. Not maps. i will repeat, none of this is bull, takle it as you will, this info was put here for people to know when the gr old maps were do out.

ok mr. insider...
LOL, the back of the case says Content DL is supported. Where does it say "5 dlc missions in time". Your "buddy" is just messing with you.

the MISSIONS are also from Desert Siege (which was out before Island Thunder). Those aren't MISSIONS from "Desert Strike" (LOL ).

this is directly from the www.ghostrecon.com website under xbox and island thunder;
AN ALL-NEW CAMPAIGN: Challenge yourself in 8 intense single-player missions deep in the heart of Cuba, plus 5 desert missions, downloadable via Xbox Live*.
Now what i must have remembered from the case was a big yellow sticker that was on the back of the case, but they must have applied it to the plastic wrap when the game was new. they only meant for 5 dlc desert missions. Night beach, train depot, ghost town......
People get upset when all these missions are released saying we allready have that map What The ****, but the truth is that is all they ever offered.
