This game looks promising, but I am kinda sceptical because ubi releases it, who are notorious for releasing beta-products. Most of the raven-shield community are still waiting for all the promised features, I would like to get some reassurance.

I don't know about raven shield but it's a different case because ubi is the developer of raven shield but only the publisher of Far Cry.

I just hope it is as good as it's suppose to be

We're all praying that Ubi doesn't has a great influence on the developement of this superb game. I hope Crytek took their time to make it bug-free. Ubi has a reputation of having very buggie games that need a patch at least three times.
Take2 for instance has several games that don't need a patch at all.


There is nothing more satisfying that having someone take a shot at you, and miss.

just another example of Ubisoft patching strategy, even the XIII demo needed a patch... isn't that great!!!

you know that some times i dont even get the point of a patch cause mine is running whit out any problem.

btw do know that UBI takes evry problem srius cause if you have a problem whit a game of UBI and you mail them the next time you download a patch it gone

now whit BF42 one bug is gone and you find a new one. now that makes it fun to try and find bugs but its not cool when you just want to runa game

so patching is cool for some but some of the downloads do not effect some systems

most patches are for old system's or some crapy pc who wants to run and hase problems.

thats the power of UBI

Jasper, I would kindly urge you to visit the raven shield forums and re-evaluate your claim. Support of raven shield has been a disaster, after 8 patches so far (including the demo), people with high end machine still get horrible framerates, switching to a grenade still unables you to switch back to your primary weapon, you still get stuck on ladders, and these are only the minor nuisances. The netcode is still in a horrible condition, with a horrible memoryleak that causes every dedicated server to crash after only a few hours. These problems are not taken seriously.

sorry man i only played Ghost recon that never gave me any problems whas and still is a realy good game. never hade Bugs that i could find but never played Rainbow six games

I could also point out SplinterCell. There was a incredibly stupid bug that made it impossible to continue the game because a objective automatically failed. I still, with three patches that were made to solve the problem, have a 50-50 chance ÃÂ�'ll fulfill the objective, so I can't say they're so good in making something bugfree like Mafia for instance.

Is it where you are out on the balcony in the Georgian Embassy about to climb over to the Kitchen?

Because that is because of you in the game and not a bug, it is because a body was left some where it could be seen so I did without stunning anyone or shooting them. And it worked.
