in this job if you have to say "oops" it's to late.

Yes, it is really bulky, but I guess if the quarters get too tight you can just put the 20mm part in your pack and use the 5.56 part.

    ahahahhahah you farted

No seriously though I don't think it's that incredibly funny I just post it because I'm bored. I know, it is dumb. But I figure, I've already failed so it doesn't really make a difference what people on this forum think.

From what I've read the 20mm airbursting munition will be spawning a family of weapons using the technology. A new modular sniper rifle capable of firing either .50BMG rounds or 25mm airbursting ammo depending on what mission the weapon it to be used for. Also the 25mm airbusrting round will be used in the OCSW to supplement the M2 heavy machine gun and the Mk.19 40mm grenade launcher. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Marines replace some of their 40mm grenade launchers on their amphibious vehicles with a 25mm airbursting weapon or maybe even a larger round. But who really knows what's on the horizon with the Brits building some kind of anti-tank missle/rpg force field and DARPA researching airborne lasers for air to air combat and research into electro magnetic and electro thermal chemical cannons for tanks and IFV's.
