I'm a huge fan of the rainbow series and from what I 've heard, RS3 on the Xbox is a good game. I've played the demo and loved it, but there were only 4 operatives (Ding, Eddie, Dieter, and Lois). I figure whatever, it's a demo. But in all the commercials there's only the same four and I took a look at the stretegy guides and the same. Is the X-Box version missing other team operatives like Homer Johnstons and the rest? Is it really just Four members? cuz that sucks. Just wanted to be sure before I went and bought it. But I might hold out for the PS2 one anyway. Thanks

It's just those four. There are no other teams and you can't play as the other soldiers. They changed it from the PC games, and that's a good thing in my opinion.

the operatives your thinkin of are all in Raven Shield for the PC, RS3 for xbox has a story that revolves around only 4 guys. I'm not sure what the point is exactly, but it works pretty well

Are you serious?! The ps2 version is going to look horrible compared to the xbox version. Why would you buy the same game on an inferior system?

If you Read the book by tom clancy, its says there are a number of teams, on rogue spear n all that you get a selection of the full rainbow roster, on the xbox, you just play one of the teams (team 1). ALthough this is a vald change i suppose, i did prefer the mission planning and freedom in the other games for the pc.

In the book (I'm reading it again for about the 7th time because it's my favorite), there are two teams with 12 men on each team. I'm sure they did this for the game to make it balanced and playable for all types of users. Besides, if you've played the missions in single player, just imagine trying to get through any door with 12 guys! I'm always tripping over the other three.

its just throughout all the r6 games they are the elites of elites of different coutries, and in my mind i am glad to have ding he is a bad a.
