Thread: What can we expect? | Forums

I was wondering since we are still waiting, is there anyone out there who will or is able to give us any idea of what actually is down THERE. We've heard of hoods, the ahyoheek tables and the ferry whatsit, but apart from that I'm pretty clueless, unless there is a thread out there that I've just not seen. So i have viions of a large public place with a game table in the middle with 500+ explorers squeezed into it! Are there new ages to discover?New journey cloths to find? Or is it a simple chat programme on steroids Please .. a light someone to help me out of this abyss.

Right now there are two extra places you can visit - the Neighbourhood and the City.

The Neighbourhood has many incarnations. There's a Greeter's Neighbourhood, for example. I think there are over 30 now. Most are all identical except for who's in them at what time. But one gets to sport the "Hood cam" each week, which is cool. This week it's Uru Obsession Neighbourhood. Most people congregate in one of 3 or 4 hoods. There are rarely more than 20 people in one hood at one time.

The DRC has opened only two portions of the City so far; one called the "Ferry Terminal" (where you have seen in the movie the view of Kerath's Arch) and the Great Stair (where the camera swoops down in the movie). As the days go on we hope to see more and more of this city, which we've all seen glimpses of when we link to various balconys from link stones in the other Ages.

    What's New, Uru?

    Thanks Guinevere

That did help clear up a few issues, makes it easier waiting knowing that the DRC are hard at work opening up the city. would hate the guinea pig in a box syndrom to kick in. When I get to go I want it all.
