Would be an excellent mod, hope the game comes with some or all of the modding tools.

I'm thinking of creating a total conversion for farcry, a realistic Vietnam mod. I have a bunch of friends who might be interested already, and I have quite a lot of experience in the modding area. So, just letting you all know you might see a vietnam mod pop up soon (with great graphics, I assure you).

The Operation Archangel MOD will go over all the wars in latest years. If you look at our weapons that we want to put in it then you can think of the wars you can 'make'. I am almost confinced that we are gonna make an Vietnam 'section' to. But we have to see.

Well, I think me and my friends are gonna start a vietnam mod. If you choose to do so as well, go for it, but, just letting you know we'll probably start something.

Sure, no thing man. When the game is released then dozans of MODs will pop-up. But man will also disapear I think. Just they dont want to work on it anymore or it takes to much time. Not that I think that your MOD will do that, but that happens so often. Look at Half Life, it happend there also.

But anyway, is your MOD only an idea in your head or are making an website and stuff?

Well, right now it's forming up in my head. Soon I'll create a document and stuff, and get a site going

Here's a face model I put together for the project. It has full support for facial expression and animation.

Looks good m8. It's far (cry [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif[/img] ) from finished but it certainly looks good! Keep us a bit informed about your MOD.

good to see other mods come to far cry already this means that there is going to be competion between mods only i hope that its not going to end up whit the BF42 mod style that you get 15 mods that do the same.

nice to see that others also try to do mods for Far cry now we got 3 mods in the running

Operation Archangel(modern warfare from 1970 till now and comming)

still unknown Vietnam Mod(ofcourse Vietnam)

Europe-2K(still unsure what thats all about cause this guys have a german site?)

so thats a good start.
