You are looking for a song, just don't know the title nor the band who play it.

Of course you don't know the lyrics at all and you can't say : you know... it goes like laaaa doooo dooo dii laaaa

Unless you take Windows recorder and you laaadooo doo dii laaaa on a file and publish it to the internet and request the title LOL..

Best way is if you can go to an online radio station that plays that type of music and see if they play it. They ussually have the name of the song as they play it

I've come to this conclusion... if a question can't be articulated in a way its answer can be searched trough google, the answer doesn't exist, thus the question it's irrelevant.

Know where / when you heard it? In a commercial, movie or on the radio?

If its a commercial, try looking around for info on that. If its a movie, check the soundtrack on imdb.com. If its a radio, go back and listen again
