Isn't it the job of Ubi to attract people's attetion or do they just think it's such a good game they don't have to?

I mean, the only thing they have to do is release some more trailers, a demo, a full website, and some NEW interviews on good sites. Or better, hands-on impressions can be very good.
Ubi just seems to deliberetly keep this game out of the media.

If they would just release the demo!!!

SplinterCell had two weapons that both couldn't hid their target from over 10 meters (except in zoom mode).

No comparison with Far Cry!

hi.. im new on the forum and a fan of FC for 3 months since i read an article on gamespy.com, really impressed by the screens and the potential so i decided to take a closer look.

I agree with you all.. here in holland (ja ik ook) i only saw one little preview i thought it was in pcgameplay (dutch magazine) in top 50 of most promising games of e3.. that's the only thing..

So many others agree. Glad to hear it was not just me.
Looks like everyone is doing their bit and promoting Farcry to fellow gaming friends. Maybe we should be subsidised by Ubi!
I wonder what Farcry media has been released on fileplanet? That is a great place for showing off game movies etc...

Far Cry isn't "sold" even on the Ubi site. Meaning there virtually no noise coming from Ubi in comparison to their other titles. I mean look at the front page. Anyone see anything about Far Cry?

You're right! They're promoting Pandora Tomorrow but not Far Cry. Maybe they find the game so good they know it will be a succes and they don't need to promote it. Can't think of anything else.

i just saw a big XIII ad on the front of the new PCgamer (when did they start putting ads over the cover?). It's being pushed by UBI, as well.

So i suppose all the "FPS advertisment" budget is going towards that. oh well. Our small little communtiy will thrive.. and when the game is a best seller we can talk about how we likes it before it was cool to like it. hah.
