Thread: I guess no one can help me with mapping X45 buttons | Forums

    1. Open profile editor
    2. Click on the button you want to program
    3. Right click on the space for that button,
    4. Select either, new key combination, or new advanced command
    5. Use keyboard to enter new command
    6. Repeat until all wanted programming is in the profile
    7. Save profile under appropriate name IE Lomac, Falcon, et al

    if i were you i'd search the forums, i've allready asked several times how to program my X45, and i got some very inspiring and decent answers.

    umm..

    Need a bit more info than that. You using the new official drivers? If so, it is pretty much gui. Just click the mode or shift for the button you want, and hit the key you want assigned to it.

    If your using Hazardscript, it is not gui, but can help you there too.

    The SimHQ board has a X45 section that is a great help.

    I found the easiest way to get into programming my x45 was to go out and download someone else's profile. Preferably a profile of a game you own. This lets you go into the profile editor and see how they configured the stick while having the ability to go into the game and see how they correspond. Before you know it the lightbulb will click on and you'll be running full speed.
