No one taught you how to sew? I learned how to use a sewing machine long time ago (not my mothers Singer that she used to make clothes for me when I was a kid mind you, I used big old industrial machines to sew tents and sleeping bags up with).
It isn't that hard really. Shirt looks good on ya too.
