2 more from my favourite group: The Fourth.

"Yipee Joe!!" was the B flown by Pierce Mckennon who became one of the Fourths leading aces and famous for his D model Mustangs named "Ridge Runner"(I,II,III et al).The nose art on this B is a Cowboy riding on a bucking P-51B.

The second P-51B is "Reggie's Reply" which was the aircraft that Godfrey received as a replacement for the more famous P-51B he flew as wingman for Don Gentile. He received a brand new natural metal B which had the checks applied and he first flew it on April 22nd 1944.On his first mission in it he shot down 3 Me1o9s.Two days later he shot down a Fw190 and damaged another.Unfortunately this aircraft was written off on the 27th April 44 when another pilot crash landed it on a training mission.

Thanks for doing these. My grandfather was the technical inspector for the 4th, so all these were his planes. Again, great skins.
