Thread: Questions about my mobo. | Forums

  1. #1
I have a system with a MSI KT4V-L mobo. I want to upgrade my XP2400 to a XP3000 but I don't know if my mobo. supports chips that fast. I've checked the MSI site, but that just says "XP2600 and faster"
I know it supports the FSB but I want to be sure. Does anybody know if I can install that chip on my mobo.
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, by the way, will I need to upgrade my power supply?
Or does the 3000+ use about the same power?
