the the expansion pack of uru actually worth downloading, i have dialup so it would take a while, how many levels does it consist of...keep in mind i found the majority of urus level designs rather boring to look at so is ther a link with lots of pictures i can look at

There is only one new level in the expansion, if you look around on Uru's website I'm sure you'll find screenshots. It's not too exciting, since it was only supposed to show those who didn't participate in Live several areas of the cavern.

Instead of downlodading it from your dial-up connection, you could download it from a library, have a friend download it, or something similar. Or you could just wait to buy Exp2, which will include the first expansion.

I don't know that that's a reasonable assessment of the expansion pack. For those of us who were never able to join live, it was a wondeful addition to an already great game experience. With a bunch of new clothing items and relto pages to find, access to neighborhoods in the city - and a few puzzles to solve along the way - and exploration of the library and museum (to name a few) - the whole Great Zero search - with the amazing pay off / x-pack2 teaser - it was great fun.

I would suggest getting it - the "leap of faith" alone is worth it. There were quite a few people who had played in live that quite enjoyed the expansion pack, as there was a good deal of new items for the game. Mostly stuff that would have been available through live eventually, but some things that were even new to them. I say give it a shot and you may be pleasantly surprised. Happy playing ...
