    i sure have been seeing that site linked a lot. I discovered it on a search for the SA-80 on google or MSN, I don't remember. But does anyone know if someone here found that site before me.

    i don't remember seeing that link before I put it in the real guns thread.

    I may have found it when I was trying to find out what kind of bastardized, hybrid gun is always leaned up against the rubble behind bin Laden, but I never posted it...

    Yeah, it's an AK 47. Or some Kalashnikov variable. 70 million Kalashnikovs have been made since 1947, and they supply almost 80 countries and countless guerrilla groups. In comparision, the second most widely used rifle is the M-16 (standard US Army issue rifle), and only 8 million of them have been made.

    Oh, and that world.guns.ru site is run by Kalashnikov themselves, so some information on other weapons may be biased.
