Anyone know how to set the time that the brass will stay on the ground? I know it's sorta picky, but I like to see it laying on the ground, it adds to the game for me .

Any other technical settings that can be changed via config file or console (or other way, surprise me) would be appreciated. Ive tried searching around with no luck... I know that the shell casings thing could probably work cause it did with 'America's Army' which is made on the same engine. Thanks for your help guys.

AA isn't on the same engine. And I'm pretty sure that if you allow the casings to stay on the ground, it would detract from performance.

AA is NOT on the same engine as RvS.

I know this because I just released a Mod.

AA is on a more up to date engine and RvS is on an earlier build as there are a lot of functions that RvS doesn't have that other games have like movers -- lifts, elevators -- And other graphical enhancements as well.

I would like to turn these off actually, because in another game, Tribes 2, there was a mod that turned them off and it improve fps immensely.

    RvS does support movers.

Oh, yes. You are right. It does... Except no body has made a map using those things in it yet. Hmm...

OKay so now that we know that it isnt exactly the same engine... is there anyway to toggle the time the brass is present for? I know that when you observe someone in MP you can see them land on the ground so it must ge toggleable. In games like quake III you just type 'cg_brasstime xxxxxx' to set it, isnt there a console command of config setting like this? Any other helpful settings would be appreciated, thanks.
