WHY BOTHER TO HAVE DLC?? Do we really want that?? | Forums

I've played alot of games and Downloaded a lot of DLC! Sometimes it's a big file, other times it's a small file that's an unlock code to something that's on the game disk.

If the DLC is already on your game disk why is it called DOWNLOAD CONTENT??? We didn't download it!

It was there already, why do we have to wait for it to be unlocked?

Why can't they tell us exactly when we will get it?

Do we really want this unlock code to be called DLC?

Sometimes DLC is a patch of fix, othertimes it's a big file that gives you a map/mission. I have no problems with that.

Why just an unlock code??

What reasons would make them want us to wait for something to get unlocked??

Carnival was only 942 blocks of data. So most of it was already on the disk. Garage was a little more.

No, they were not on the disk you...*refraims from calling name*. It is unlockable when it is 4 blocks, like on RTCW and Counter-Strike. Also, people with mod chips have looked and they were not on the disk.

If you played the campaign, you played those maps already! They were a little different, but they were the same maps.

Usually a real DLC map or mission would be at least 4000+ blocks.

The parade mission was good & tough! You should play it!
