Thread: 1P demo worked, MP demo didn't. Can I get PT? | Forums

The single player demo worked perfectly with highest graphics settings on my Compaq Pressario 2100 laptop with an ATI RADEON IGP340M video card. It worked, although this card isn't supported. The multi-player demo, however, refused to even start. Would it be safe to spend money on SC:PT for PC? Or will it crash because of an "inadequate pixel shader" like in the MP demo? I'm not sure if I should risk buying the PC game, or wait until the GameCube release which is bound to be sub-par because of lack of online support. Can anyone help me?

i think if you buy the game you wouldnt be able to do multi but you would be able to do single.

so i would say spend your money on a new card

Thanks, but I think MP is half the fun in this game. I'll just wait to see how PT turns out for the GC.
