Thread: Mine crashes while its loading the server lists | Forums

    My game keeps crashing when i load up the server lists.

    Pretty much i do this:

    Load Raven Shield -> Click Multiplayer -> Log In -> Wait While my list refreshes -> Crash with this error.

    OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
    CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 998 MHz with 383MB RAM
    Video: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (4109)

    R6WindowServerListBox Transient.R6WindowServerListBox0 (Function UWindow.UWindowListControl.GetItemAtIndex:0060) Runaway loop detected (over 1000000 iterations)

    History: FFrame::Serialize <- UObject::ProcessEvent <- [InteractionMaster Transient.InteractionMaster0, Function Engine.InteractionMaster.Process_PostRender) <- UInteractionMaster::MasterProcessPostRender <- UGameEngine:raw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop



    It seems with the "Runaway loop detected (over 1000000 iterations)" that the games can't handle this number of players/servers.

    Or is something else the problem?

    Ok i see further down the list someone else has this problem.


    I guess its uncheck stuff and hope they patch the game soon

    Reduce your results list by filtering out locked servers and game types you dont play. once the filters are in place it should work fine. Filters can be set up prior to log in under LAN game.

    I had the same problem....what i did is this

    on the shortcut button on your desktop right click it and then click properties add -norunaway in the target box..like this:

    "C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\RavenShield\system\ravenshield.exe" -norunaway

    Dude, WTF! I get this same problem too! I've bought 2 RS6 games cuz i thought there was a problem with the game, but there isnt, whats wrong!!! god damn iterations! help me man!!!
