I had installed and been playing AS since its release and suddenly as of today when I try to launch my game it is telling me to put the right disc in my drive and try again. I have tried both disc 1 & 2...I have reinstalled...still nothing. I have the same problem with RS but I managed to bypass that problem using *edit* and am locked out of playing the game.
If anyone has any sugestions or went througha similar problem, your help would be appreciated.

I had no idea that installation of a harmless program like that was so wrong. It is in no way jeapordizing the purchase of the game in any way since a CD Key is still required to play. I was merely mentioning it was my last resort in accessing the game even after reinstallation. Due to the lack of help, I was forced to reformat and spend my day off dealing with this garbage. I am just happy that I can access my game again (and without the use of any unauthorized UBI programs).

It's pretty funny that UBI took the time to edit something completely harmless in your post..... yet they didn't answer your friggin question on how to get the stupid game to work.

I am having the exact same problem: installed fine, but can't run the game--- YES I DID TRY BOTH DISCS!!!!

As a result I downloaded and tried emulation software, because I paid $40 for this piece of crap, so I expect it to work and would like it to work!!!

Hello have you finnished completly the install of A.S. and you are now ready to start the game but it's saying wrong disk in drive.?

If that is correct then you now need to put in you ravenshield play disk, it does not use any of the A.S disks to play A.S so stick in you rvs disk as normal and it should work.

    I hope this helps...

You're right Saint006, you need to use RvS CD2 as always, and you can't also launch it from within RvS then there should be no doubt that you need to use RvS CD2, many ppl have been asking this, I believe it also says to use RvS CD2 in manual, right?

I Inccourage to always check (preferbly before asking question ) the sticky in the Self-Help forum - Post Game Fixes Here!! - many FAQ or problems that have solutions are posted here.

But when in doubt ask away, ppl are always willing to help here...

Mine was a strange thing...I have 3 drives and had both discs in my system (and no I didn't know it ran off of only my RS disc...heh) yet I was still unable to access either game. The problem occurred after I had installed my Battlefield Vietnam game. I ended up having to uninstall all 3 games and reinstall. Whatever the problem was, it is now fixed and I can access all of my games once again!!!

I blame EA for this as they probably put a program designed to get me to break my Rainbow Six addiction in their game....hehe
