One thing that I just learned today is that Ray was from here, Seattle. He got his first hit right here in Seattle. He was then encouraged to go to New York. Which he did and the rest is history....strange...both he and Jimmi as in Hendrix were from Seattle...wow. Still, it is a saddness and I will miss him...should include him in that farce of deal going on today for a demented sickle of a man..
