This is lousy, frustrating level. Yea, I'll eventually get through it but I curse those bastard trigents,fatBoys,and the sadistic programmers who created them. Any advice? The walkthroughs haven't worked for me.

I'm still trying to get to the the first save point, which seems impossible. There seems to be no chance of stealth because as soon as I go down the waterfall, all the mutants see me.

i knocked it over in 3 or 4 trys

here is what i did
kill that guy that tryes to kill you at the start (ppl will tell you not to but ehh)

survay the area from the top of the dam...

see how the river flows to near the chopper

more fall than jump down the waterfall and as soon as your underwater start swimming... underwater...

you will come to some parts that force you to stand youll see em coming. have a lil look around for any trigens. the first one you come to will look "around" when his back is turnd swim walk past him then get underwater again as soon as posible stay on the bottom

keep going till you get to the end and you should be out of breath (there will be a few more walking points but there not to bad) head out into the expance of water and swim around to the chopper and get in bang first save point ill let you get the rest on ya own as its kinda fun

one tip tho in the later part of the level you dont have to kill every trigen you come across you just have to live to the next save

Dont waste your shots above...run(sprint)and jump, but stay in the deep end. A trigen or two will jump at you , but quickly drown. They die as soon as they hit the water. Just remain calm...look around , see where they are hiding and try to lure as many in the water after you. BUT KEEP YOUR DISTANCE !(I dont remember if you have your binoculars)Use them if you do !An armed trigen lies straight ahead. You need to make it to the chopper but htere is a cargo box with more ammo before you get to the chopper.That is your save(cut scene). I hope you make it.YOU WILL -We ALL DID and so will you !

As Wookiee22 did, I also got it in 3 or 4 ..er.. days, ok so it took a little longer.

Anyway, on day 4, I did it almost the same way, except.

At the top of the waterfall, grab the gun and go to the right around the boulder while the trigen is coming up the river. Then run and fall off the waterfall. The trigen will just fall in behind you and drown.

Now swim underwater along the river until the first walk point.

I shot the guy on the bank because he's got a gun and can get you at a distance.

Now RUN LIKE YOU'VE GOT THE SQUIRTS along the left bank. All the trigens that might see you can't get across the deep water.

Once you get to the open sea, some drown, and some just give up the chase, but none follow you.

Now it's all clear to get to the chopper.

That'a boy!!! Yeah thats what I ended up doing in both medium and realistic, made it on first try on realistic but was that fortunate on med. for some reason lol.
