    I know its a lil extreme and some have played fine without it. but i took the bait and bought the x800 and have been playing trouble FREE since not one glitch (besides occasional pb kick) Im sure it was a good investment and since i havent upgraded since 5700u it was worth the money.

    good move dude im waiting for the x800xt gonna upgrade from a 9800 xt, and put the 9800xt in my 5900xt's place .. uprgrading is fun when you have 4 pc's to yourself...lol
