I am trying to figure out how to fly the P-40E1941 with the complex engine managment enabled. I have looked in the game manules but they have no info.

Prop.Pitch, Mixture, and Magneto seem to be available but I dont know what they are or do.

    Any help would be appreshiatated..

This is how much I can help you:

    - propeller pitch is basically setting for constant speed propeller. In combat you'd want it to be on finest (100%). This will give the propeller greatest rotating speed and best acceleration. Lowering propeller pitch should be done in level flight (experiment little with it) and especially in dive (but P-40 has a bug in this department - which will be fixed in upcoming patch).

    - Mixture is your fuel mixture setting. In P-40E and P-40M this is automatic (just leave it at Auto-rich setting, which is 100% mixture) You don't have to do anything with mixture.

    - Magnetos are like spark plugs in a car which are required to ignite fuel. You should have them both on (1+2 Magnetos) as long as you want to keep the engine running . If you want to switch the engine off you cann either hit the ignition key or turn of magnetos.

well, that's about all you need to know

ive been flying the P-40 for a little while now (all models) and i find the best all round settings are Prop Pitch 90% and Throttle 80%.... Mixture 120% (unless over an altittude of 3000) and magnetos 1&2 on.

The P-40M version (and russian moded) have Superchanrger stages...but not the P-40E model. Supercharger Stage 1 is for Altitudes bellow 2200m or 6600ft...above that is Supercharger Stage 2.

Yes always. I just finished getting my bt kicked. I did manage to get the plane to fly at 330km hr. Before I could only manage a top speep of 230km hr. I was fiddling with the prop pich and mixter. I know the plane can fly faster on easy setting. But I just dont know how to.
