I still claim that the chicken or the egg question does not specify the type of egg. Therefore, the answer is that the egg came first, because non-chicken species (such as dinasours) were laying eggs long before chickens, or near-chickens were evolved.

Everything tastes like chicken because long ago chickens ruled the planet and any animal that said everything doesn't taste like chicken had to eat chicken for the rest of its' life, and therefore, all creatures say, "everthing tastes like mf-ing chicken." The chicken and the egg are laying in bed together. The chicken is smoking a cigarette with a satisfied smile on its face while the egg is frowning and looking slightly annoyed.
The egg mutters "Well I guess that answers that riddle".
