"John Carmack did today announce that instead of making a big april joke for alot of anticipating gamers around the globe,id will release a demo of the much awaited Doom3.
The demo will contain 1 single player level and 1 multiplayer level.
We will release a brand new demo that has never been seen seen before and one that has not been leaked onto the internet said John carmack.
Demo specs:
1st level of doom3 complete with cutscene and intro.
mp_steam tunnel.
The demo will also contain 3 of the 9 weapons,these weapons are:
Shotgun
Machinegun
and a brand new weapon called Ray-blaster
He also revealed the system specs to play Doom3:
P4 3GhZ or AMD 2000+ with atleast 1024 ram memory,Geforce fx 5950 or ati 9800pro.
This is very high settings but then again doom3 is one of the best looking games to be released later this year.
