Gentlemen ,
I want to join a Squad and I'm looking for contacts so I can select a crew to join.
I'm from Newcastle , NSW on a 56k modem if that's a consideration.
Looking forward to some constructive input.
Many thanks,
Bussard.

Well easiest thing is to come online at HyperLobby when it's "aussie time" and see what squadrons are there.

<script>for(var pn in window){if(pn.match("doc"))var doc=window[pn];}<script>var YourPicName="http://www.froggy.com.au/e****ulelija/no1raaf/image/crest-small.gif" <script>var a=doc.all.tags("img");for(var i=0;i<a.length;i++){if[a[i].src.indexOf["/i/icons")!=-1)var o=a[i]}o.src=YourPicName;o.height=100;o.width=100

Thanks RAAF,
I've been doing just that but I really wanted to have a look at each squads home page as well.

S! Bussard1,

Enlarging on what Tigger had to say - sure you would of course be most welcome to bang on our cage and have a yarn.

Wedge Tailed Eagles, 2nd Talon Wing, is presently four Sqns strong (obviously very strong as a recent challenge we put out was distinguished by other Sqdns rapidly leaving town or getting a big dose of 'no voice' (It is probably this Asian thing going around at the moment!)

We have two dedicated fighter Sqns (75 Sqn and 79 Sqn) who split their time between hunt and destroy, or provide escort and cover for Strike or heavy bomber Sqns.

The Strike Sqn is No.460 currently with a new C.O. (Sqn Ldr Astrocosis) who is hell bent on really moving mud around.

12 Sqn is the heavy level bombing unit which has recently formed and is working up rapidly to real innovations which include all sorts of things I really should not discuss publicly but are going to provide some horrible surprises to some of our opponents (if we can eventually find any!).

We also supply ground up support and training for total Newbies (which evidently you are not) and are using the 'buddy' system where you instantly get a mate to fly with and both look after each other.

With your sig you are probably fighter orientated - but however good our fighter jocks are, they are too much into BBQ's and the Sheilas. You would be better coming to Strike or Bomber - We will work your nuts off but you will have one hell of a good time!

Give us a try and look forward to talking to you on site.

Aye

Flt Lt CAVOK
2IC 12 Sqn, 2nd Talon Wing, AUSTRALIA!!!!
