ive added valerie as a playable character in sp just with messing around with the .pak files, but i can't seem to be able to get her into mp. has anyone attempted this?

nope, but in a lot of games SP and MP models use different animations and such so it might be a bit of a pain.

hmmm true but there has got to be a way to have valerie as a selectable mp model. Would i have to replace the "hero" model or could i just add a new one called valerie and take valerie from sp and import it to mp.

i notice that there was a problem with her sitting in a buggy were she would stand up as if she was on the gun turret instead of sitting down on the seat, but with the humvee it seemed to be fine.

am i the only one here who is interested in having valerie in mp?

I can't help but I'm rooting for someone to get this working. I can't feature how CryTek could leave women so completely out of a game theme that could so easily and successfully include them.

Last time I checked women still accounted for half the planet's population and were one of the fastest groing audiences in gaming... FarCry with it's derivitive 'adventure' theme not only should include women as it just seems appropriate but the game theme would almost certainly be more appealing to women then 'Red Necks Butt Heads Over Oil'...

Congratulations on getting as far as you have, hope we see more mod support from CryTek/Ubi...

thnx very much for your reply hoak i will check that out there and read up on it. I too believe what you stated above I;m surprised we do not see any female models that are playable. I personally believe that not as many woman play games is because they are mostly male oriented in many ways.

with this mod (if i can get someone who could help me) i hope that it will bring some woman over to farcry so that they could have some interest in the game as well.

Hi I'm a guy and I was disapointed as well that there are no female models in this game. Fo one thing, am I the only one who finds that such a lack of female models adds a certain feeling of non-realism ? Why no female henchmen(woman) .

Moreover as a male, I myself often, when given a choice, play my games with female caracters. I don't beleave I have "issues" lol but hey who wouldn't prefer to watch a girl run around the screen insted of a guy

Oh well, though a little dissapointed, you have to still love this game. Looking forward to seeing many female models in MODs to come

i tried it but it still shows up with the defualt models and names. I've even tried to rename the files ending with _mp like all the others but i cant seem to get it working... any suggestions?
