In live I get to my Relto, link to anything and my computer downloads forever, but never goes anywhere. I left it on all night, and still had a black screen with the grey load bar at the bottom when I woke up this morning.

Whenever your computer hangs for more than a few minutes, use Alt-F4 to get back to the Desktop, and try Uru again.
You may have to wait a bit for Uru Setup to exit from background processes, and you may also need to reboot. Depends on what you see when you Alt-F4.
What you have happening may be the result of the current very high load on the Ubi servers.
