negative one replies??? | Forums

This morning when I checked the forums I noticed a lot of threads with -1 replies? I'm just curious how that works. Did a bunch of people take back their replies or something? Is my browser playing tricks on me? Do I have the dreaded -1 virus?

This is especially true in the off-topic forum where almost all of the threads have -1 replies to them. I also noticed some threads that had been 2 page are now only 1 page. What happened? Did lightning strike the UBI Forums server last night while I was sleeping? Worse still, is this like my last job where someone gets fired and we're all supposed to act like nothing happened?

In case it changes before anyone else sees it I've included a screen capture.



So, can anyone tell me? What happened here?

Yeah noticed. Don't worry about it - it's happening in every game forum.

Wow, fast response there Infydave! All forums, eh? 'Tis strange indeed. Perhaps a solar flare is to blame?

After I posted the thread I thought maybe someone had been banned and all their posts were nuked. But that doesn't really fit the evidence either. I just hope that no data was lost and the collective page 2's will come back.

I also hope we'll get some sort of explaination as to what happened. It's just this kind of little mystery that will keep me awake nights!
