can someone tell me which files I need to download in which order from where to start
a 2.04 server

In this order:

il2fb_server1.11.exe - Win32 dedicated full server v1.11
fb_server111_open.zip - Win32 dedicated server v1.11 "open" patch
server_patch_121.exe - Win32 dedicated server v1.11 -> v1.21 patch
server_patch122_over121.exe - Win32 dedicated server v1.21 -> v1.22 patch
server201_over122.zip - Win32 dedicated server v1.22 -> v2.01 patch (AEP)
aep_server_patch204.zip - Win32 dedicated server v2.01 -> v2.04 patch

Another question- What are the minimum specs I can run a Dedicated server?
I have a Laptop with 1Ghz CPU and 256mb of ram, plenty of HDD space and both FB and aces loaded. Will this be enough to run a dedicated server??

I would advise an upgrade to 512MB RAM depending on how many players you are going to host. IL-2 FB Dedicated Server is not very CPU intesive so your 1GHz is more than enough, even up to 30 players depending on OS and other stuff, but at those numbers it uses alot of RAM.

I've seen a few posts regarding the AEP dedicated server not starting in the right lobby. I am experiencing the same thing.?. Any resolutions would be appreciated.

UBI ignores that there is a problem.......they don't care about IL2 because not enough green. File a complant here http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/...er/std_alp.php It has to be in the form of a question. I have four times and they wait a few days and close issue stating problem solved. I want a business like this were you can just take peoples money and forget them.

The UBI Official Game Sevice still shows 2.04 as 2.01 aswell.............ask UBI if they care.

I must be venting. I have had an extra IP address(10 bucks a month) to run a dedicated server for 6 mos now. It still dosent work.

Through my 25 yr experience in business I have found if you treat customers bad you will lose them........Time will tell?

Thanks Dawg for posting the link to ubi (lack of) support. It would be so good to have the ded server in the right place... but then if it was I wouldn't have my pipe dream!!!!
