Hmmmm

Why oh why oh why do i do it ???.......out of bored waiting for the patch that im not really bothered about, i play the A-10 campaign through 3 of the levels with success.

4th level comes...take off turn a little low wingman shouts "EJECTING!!" bang he hits the ground after forgetting all his basic flight training and drives in to the floor !!

"****head!" i shouted........"dont you call me a ****head" replied the missus

so i restart the mission takeoff climb a little higher to give my wingman time to remember how to fly low in his low level flying plane and we exit towards WP2.

3nm and im hit with the mother of all BSD's !!

Flashing and scrollin and generally scaring me into thinking i had a Spectrum zx48 and was loading Frogger !!

Esc, vulcan death grip (Ctrl/Alt/Del) and end task, restart A-10 campaign.........but whats this ?
Where has all my mission progress gone??
You mean i have to start it all again??
And ive just wasted 2hours of my time AGAIN??!!

Mental note book self into tatoo parlour and have "DO NOT PLAY LOMAC CAMPAIGNS" scribed on my arms.

i think all the progress was gone because u used the vulcan death grip

and u have bluescreen, right? if u have bluescreen, don't do anything. Press F10, and the awacs mode will come up. and then exit the game properly so u won't lose the progress u made

You have to make sure you save your campaign every time you beat a mission, otherwise it won't save your progress.

Lower your display settings - set traffic to "Off", set visibility range to 20 km, turn off effects and fire - and you'll forget about "blue screen". BTW, It seems that actually you're referring to a LBSD (LOMAC Blue Screen of Death) - it's a reaction of LOMAC on use of videocard without hardware support of DirectX 8.1. Simply turn off features that I listed and enjoy !

Thanx for the advice m8 but ive been around this block for some time and have tried all the tweaks and not noticed the difference, the only tweak that has made a noticable difference to LOMAC is the Flare addon the rest are a waste of time......if lockon runs **** on your pc its time to upgrade .full stop.end of story.

Yes its LBSD but i have a DX9 FX5600pro m8 and i definatly dont need to be turning anything down i always have traffic off, view vis on med, haze on basic and the rest full.

No probs with these settings with hi FPS in all the demanding MP games ive played, just the campaigns for me seem to be bug ridden

Never mind love the game enuff just for MP never play the campaigns normally, usually because of these errors
