Hey, I don't own the game, but I have a friend who does. He uses FRAPS or something to take gameplay videos so he can show everyone else what Lockdown is like. So far, it's looking pretty awesome! I'm particularly impressed by these two videos:
Firs video Second video Other games, like SWAT 4 or Raven Shield, don't have teammate AI that's ANYTHING like this. I'm glad Ubisoft went the extra mile to put stuff like this into the game. It really pulls me into the experience; I feel like I'm actually leading a squad of commandos against terrorists. |

....duno what game you were playing, but the AI is horrible,
reasons 1. they are constantly walking in front of you while fireing 2. they dont hold when you tell them to 3. the little catch frases they say are something that makes me want to rip my eardrums out of my head 4. they have only managed to kill a total of 10 people (out of 3 teammates) while i take on 60 |

Those videos are neat! the last one is hella funny, but the way they get in formation and all is awsome. the rest is just that not everything is perfect. |

subzero - watch the vids. Perhaps he should have used sarcasm indicators like: [begin sarcasm] and [/end sarcasm]..... It's pretty classic.

yeah it's also fun to watch the AI on any corner start peeking back and forth all stealthy and stuff for no reason whatsoever. i thought they were looking for a phone number to an ubi programer or something.

Who says Lockdown doesn't have any entertainment value. I don't think anyone could have scripted a better routine.

I hope you are friggin happpy......as I viewed the second video, I unfortunately had just taken a swig of soda that sprayed on to my monitor and keyboard as I laughed uncontrollably. Now I have stuck keys on the keyboard. This post took a while to edit, as the g and e keys are sticking bad.
Too bad I will never experience what the AI looks like in game (besides the "demo"), as this is the first R6 game I have decided to not purchase since Dec '98. Thanks for the good laugh...sending this post on to my clan that also opted out of purchasing this game. |

All I can say is...WOW! From playing the demo for about a minute I had the AI pegged as being horrible but these videos are the final nail in the AI's coffin.
I'm thinking if anyone can't get a refund for LD, simply show the store clerk these videos - there's no way they could deny you after that! Please keep more videos coming! I think this has been the best LD thread so far. |

Man his face was so serious when he talked about the AI and stuff how it was going to be a great experience for the rs6 fans!!! I was so convinced lol but now is ahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha ROFL!!! Seriously made my day! the best part is the vid 2 he quits to desktop..can he that he gave up totally. Yeah Lockdown is a must buy for days you are feeling down it will cheeer you up with some comedy! |
