Well that is good news and perhaps the most important post on these forums for us that bought this game and still hold some hope!

I love the RSE R6 Lockdown engine; the way the game looks, feels (except for the twitchy hyper-speedy animations), and handles so many elements important to realism gaming.

But the bugs make multi-player and creating mods impossible -- combined with default multi-player game-play that's so twitchy and fast it literally makes Counter-Strike seem the more realistic and serious Tactical Realism game by comparison, does the fantastic engine no favors.

Bug fixes and the ability to mod out the arcady features so obviously, widely and strongly disliked by the audience that loves and buys these games could go a long, long way to improving everything in the Ubi/Clancy Franchise and it's relationship with its Fans.

Soon to ubi is about 3 months. With GR: AW demo releasing this week lockdown is a huge failure.

Do not mean to sound stupid, but what does this mean for us? Is he the guy that tells us the game will be patched or not? Or the guy who tells us to look forward to the next game? The secret squirrel stuff is killing me. And I am sure I am not the only one in the boat of confusion.

Is Geiger unofficially telling us what Ubi should be officially telling us? That a patch of some sort is being sorted?

Well let's hope "More info soon believe it or not." isn't more info about Rambo Six: Vegas Casino Death-Match, or a fix by way of an expansion we have to pay for to get Lockdown working...

Even though the post is vague, offers no details, specifics, and makes no commitments or qualifications -- (Ubi-Speak) -- it is cause for hope... I hope...

I think that they have to release a patch before GRAW comes out. they dont need people running around saying they dont support their products.

This is get ridicules now, why can a much larger company like EA keep their customers informed but UBI seem to use Chinese whispers?

I'll drop some patch notes early next week if possible.

Yes, we're working on a patch

The only thing that will keep me from taking the game back is some form of assurance, or even a hint, that the game will become a tactical shooter again. Otherwise, it's gone.

Is there even a hint? Please??

You'll have to be the judge of that when the patch releases. I know that there are a lot of fixes going in including connectivity improvements.
