Oh yes I fully agree with you Alex - Im also of the same opinion.
If a game takes my fancy I spare no expense on Hardware to obtain the best result possible as well.

I remember playing Tribes for over 3 years and have been playing Sturmovik since 2001.

The amount of time invested in a decent game over the years requires equally decent hardware to get the best experience possible.

run pretty well but, when I apply AA x4 slow down like a turtle. I start to think that Radeon cards sucks. Oh! and the Catalyst Control Center take a life to load up.

i have samethink with very similar setting...but my card is 6600GT, probaply because CPu is Hyper-threated....

well if you want it to be like Xbox360, these Requirements are right...but without ATi's X1900XTX you cant overhelm Xbox360 (its same card as X360 has and it is better thatn 7800 nvidias)

Remember that GRAW PC is not a port of the Xbox 360 version, so the PC specs will not be the same. The King Kong Gamers Edition is basically a port of the 360 version (I think), and the specs for that are crazyily high - but that's what you need for a 360 version to run on your PC.

dont worry about Animations.. GRIN have best Motion capture Facility in these days...

amd 65 3500+ venice
1gb pc3200 ram
geforce 6600gt 128mb.

will buy a x1800xt 512mb next month to run the game at max.

cd rom drive must have dvd play compatible ????
