...the box of the game? graphics get any better? what? lol if they're in beta then graphics engine is pretty much a done deal. alot of this stuff you can just wait to see, it's not really gonna stimulate much (read useful) conversation.

I say just about the factions repeatedly! if he tries to evade, just have the next person in line ask the same question! wring him out to dry!! I definitely wanna hear what the new faction's gonna be.

Don't think it really matters about skills/abilities at this point cuz we're not quite sure what each ability/skill will do. We might get 30 skills but each skill has a minimal impact. Though I doubt that... but until we get the skills list I don't think any kind of speculation on hero capabilities will be very accurate.

There have been some threads here about the box of the game and there was no official comment about this. In fact, many fans will be disappointed in case of simple DVD cases without instructions.

I just wanted to show my appriciation that they improved the graphics of our beloved Heroes of might and magic series. Maybe it's just me talking, but changing a 2d game into 3d is not a simple step and it seems to be done great here (unlike, in my opinion, for Worms and Simon the sorcerer).

I want to know what the new factions are gonna be too, however, some of us want more information.

all you have to do is look at the demo for graphical information. It's not like they're gonna suddenly drop the polygon count on the new mystery faction or for some random reason change concept artist midway thru. what you see for 2 factions is gonna be pretty consistent for the other 4. I wouldn't spend valuable time like that interview is gonna be on something that you can answer for yourself.

and I HIGHLY doubt that they're gonna give us an in-cd manual. that would just be silly.

I'll ask if they are gonna make the game in another languages; and also told him that I could help in spanish translation. Actually; there are a lot of guys from latorredemarfil.com wich could help in that way too.

Well actually you covered my most important question.

The Battle Log. I want it,,, PUUUHHHLEASE

-How many planned in total for the open beta (later on they said theyd add more)
-Is it Multiplayer only or do we get to experience the ai?
-How many magic schools and what are they? seeing as they have changed between 6 and 4 so many times (or been undecided)
-Alos wondering how abilities (the ones that dont get adv/expt) are improoved, do we get to put things in a stat that increases this or do they just improove by levels? (I heard someone who said they had played the alpha say there was a might and a magic stat u choose one or the other each level, and might incresed abilities and magic spells, I was annoyed at hearing this possible spoiler though)

Will anyone be posting a log of the chat? I'm going to be at work and won't be able to make it, unfortunately.

So many people will refuse to buy this game no matter how great is is, if ubi decide to use starforce. Ask if ubi could re-consider, or use less damaging anti-piracy software.

Your funny suggestion will not be very effective then. Thanks for reminding us, Fabrice - cause it's not written in the announcement. All the questions from now on: just about the beta test. I got one more question:

- I think I heard somewhere that there will be a random map generator. If it's true, then will it be included in the beta test so testers can suggest how to improve it?
(the random map generator of HoMM3 frequently made me be trapped inside my town cause of a group of 100 marksmen or made my enemies start right next to my town)

2 quetions about the beta:

- Will it be somehow protected so I can sleep safely knowing that even if somone will break into my computer (electronicly) and download it, he wont be able to play the game without my actual help, and so I wont have to sell my house and a kidney to pay 50.000 $

- Is it ok if I'll download the beta from other IP than it's gonna be played??

- Is there a specific schedule for reports? (Like, every Mondays or everyday!)

Edit: I'm just asking this because I think it would be overwhelming if every beta tester decided to send single emails for every bug they find. Multiply that by 1000 beta testers...

If I'm chosen, and if no criteria is mentioned, I'll send daily reports and weekly reports. (Daily when I'm home at weekends. Weekly to report my week's beta testing on my other PC, a notebook, when I'm in the university without internet, unless I get to a cybercafe).

- what if I would be chosen for beta test and after I download the beta it happens that my PC is to weak for it ??

Just report it with information about your system (hardware and drivers versions information).

i think all factions shuold be playable in the beta. of course only for the purpose of balance issues.
